Thats why I say fight it. I've had 3 tickets voided by SP commander because the officer put down the wrong court date. Something else allot of states have stopped doing. Now the court will tell you what date court is. I respect LEO, they have a hard job to do. I know, I used to be one. But the fact is they have to do it right every time or you can get off with a technicality.

too late for me but I couldnt afford to fight my tickets and it would have been my luck if i would have showed up so would have the cop.

Ok, I read about being given a ticket for being in the left lane. So what about the states, Ca Etc that say to get into the left lane if emergency vech are on the side of the road if possable or slow down. So if the left lane is clear do you still stay in the right lane and slow down. I know if i was a emerg/leo I would want a truck to pull over if possable. Recommendation?

You move over, When you are pass move back.

A warning giving for having a headlight out way out in the middle of OK on a dark two lane will not go on an inspection report as there isn't one. That info has to be manually fed into what I assume will have to be a giant new database with thousands of new access terminals everywhere and it's being run by the same government that won the war on drugs, to pick the easiest example. If I listed all of them this post would never end.

Yes, I know. I'm starting to doubt their ability to implement it.

I hate to tell you this, but they are already there. I logged into the system to check hubbys stats, and the warnings for the brokers old crap trailer are there. If you get a printed piece of paper from the DOT, with warnings, they are showing up on the company record, and it won't be too hard to transfer those to the driver record.
Now this is where i get confused, if they are on our safestat for equipment, will they also be on the driver record? And isn't THAT double jeopardy for the O/O??? -
I have come across drivers who have been ticketed for still going into the left lane, Remember, "its not about safety any more, it is all about Revenue!" and that came from a Cops Mouth!

I always hire a lawyer when I get a ticket,I just google the city where I got the ticket, pick a lawyer that works with truckers, understands that your CDL is your paycheck. Always work with a Lawyer that is from the area where you get the ticket. Lawyer fees are tax deductable. Most fines are not.

The record on your safestat only affects the 'operating authority' which can have as many drivers as it wants. The driver record is his/hers to deal with. In the case of an O/O it could be possible the owner is barred from driving and that the authority could still continue to operate with other drivers.
