I replaced the AC compressor, Drier, condenser, TX valve and evaporator on my truck and regassed it (was all done by auto electrician)

When driving it on the highway for a few hours, one of the lines going to the TX valve is covered in ice, sorry I am not sure if it's high or low side, like full on covered. When I turn the truck off the ice melts and I have people come rushing to me saying I am leaking diesel lol.

Air con works fine when local, but after about 4 hours on the highway it doesn't blow cold, nor does it blow that well.

Any ideas? The auto electrician who did it has covid, so not sure when he is back, I spoke to him on the phone quickly and he thought thermostat. I think mine has the long rod one that goes through the evaporator core.

    Any other suggestions?

I am just doing so.e more thinking on this, I am not sure if I have noticed the AC drain water whilst in normal use, so maybe the condensate drain is blocked causing the evap core etc the freeze.

Where is it supposed to drain on a 9200i?, the evap core etc is under the passenger seat

They drain right below the heater box. Yes, it does sound like the ac is not shutting off where the evaporator is cold enough. I would try a new freeze switch.

Would that also be called the thermistor? I am assuming it's the rod that gets put through the centre of the evaporator?

    Yes. That is the correct.

Thermostat, freeze probe, freeze switch. Lots of different terminology for it, but yes, has the flexible rod that gets inserted into the evaporator.

So I found the thermistor, I actually found 2, the original one was still in place but disconnected, at some stage someone has replaced it. I have taken out the current one that is plugged in, and will replace it.

Stupid question, how do you know which wires go where? Both wires are green, one of them says 77B and the other 77F

Obviously I can copy what the previous person did, but considering they were too lazy to take the old one out, which took me 8 seconds, I don't trust their work.
