Hopper, Dump O/O's & Drivers

Tried to start the Expedition this morning, no go, I think the oil is just too thick right now.

 

Possibly, if you look at the first one, they have cleared that lot to bring in more snow from down town. Thats the city's lot, and its where they dump the snow, when they have to move it. The spot that they start dumping is 1/2 mile down the street from my house. I'll try to take a good picture of it, so that you can see how much snow they have already moved. And there are still many streets you cannot see around the piles to pull out. I'm glad my SUV sits up so high, I can see over most of them, so not so bad for me, but I feel for the car drivers. According to the news, budgets are already over in our area for snow removal.

What really worries me is the Ice Jams on the river. We are only 1/4 mile from the river. The dike has done a good job in the past, but its never been this cold for this long, since we have been here, so who knows what next week will bring. Temps are supposed to be close to 40*.
