Just saw it on CNN, all I know right now is that in Dayton Ohio a tanker collided with a special needs bus and there are several injured.
Prayers to all the families...
I will update as I get more info.

LavenderTrucker Thanks this.

That explains the head on on a divided interstate.

The driver of the tanker was killed, and three others. The driver of the tanker was going way to fast for the road conditions. When will they ever learn.

Thats a very sad story and to know that it could have been prevented is even worse. No freight or money is worth someones life. Its good to have some convidence in your ability but common sense also plays a role. RIP to those injured/killed and let it be a lesson to the rest of us.

Please get you facts straight . From the link in tinytim's post .LavenderTrucker Thanks this.

Same should apply to the journalists...
I'm SO tired of hearing/reading that "snow/rain/fog caused several accidents today". Will DOT give "snow" a ticket for an accident, I think not! People cause crashes to happen, rarely are there truly any accidents. There's nothing macho about pushing on into unsafe and deteriorating conditions in the name of a paycheck.LavenderTrucker Thanks this. -
I agree to push forward in unsafe an deteriorating conditions is just plain rediculous.
That is something that is going to haunt him the rest of his life. I could not imagine being responsible for anothers death, let alone several deaths and injuries.
I do also agree that anyone who makes the choice to drive in such dangerous conditions can not escape resposibility, it is not an accident due to weather, it is the result of poor judgment and irresponsibility. -
Our drivers got an e-mail yesterday . 3 of the carrier's drivers had at fault accidents in the snow . Luckily no injuries but the 3 are now looking for new jobs . If I remember correctly they let 6 go last year .
