Bulkmatic, as it happens...

Released by surgeon on Dec 28th, DOT physical and drug test on same afternoon. Took 14 days to get drug test results back so okayed to drive on January 10th. Scheduled to go back into my normal rotation on the 14th (tomorrow) and here I sit in pain trying to pass a kidney stone since Monday along with a fever and dizziness.

So far 2022 can kiss my ###.

 

That thought had crossed my mind.

At least I was finally able to get on the phone with my primary this morning finally. In his defense he has had covid and pneumonia in the last month and is still on oxygen, so I didn't expect something right away, and the earliest I can get into the urologist is a week from tomorrow (If you aren't shooting blood out your eyeballs you can't get in anywhere in under 2 weeks anymore it seems). He sent in a prescription for UTI which hopefully will help with something but since all the different symptoms I have don't add up to just one thing he is figuring I also have the flu and said to get a covid test done.

 

Well, the body does not cooperate like it use to when I was a young pup but the bills keep coming in and its been 22 days of no pay with all the different delays since I got released by the surgeon so back I go this weekend. Hopefully the discomfort won't get worse then what it is today, if so it will be some very long days.

Spoke to one of my 2 new dispatchers this afternoon and she was kind enough to hook me up with what should be 4 straight forward easy loads for the weekend to ease back into things, won't be going father than about 65 miles in any direction. Now all I have to do is remember how to drive and actually perform the job

 

Yes, linehaul is just moving trailers, not loading/unloading them. Beyond that I can not give you any info as I do not know any linehaul drivers.

I will have to defer to Dale as far as hometime goes also, I have no clue.
