Hi, the speedometer was not working at all for months, now it reads inconsistently about 20 miles under the speed limit, sometimes nothing. The housing is cracked and looks like someone tried to patch it up with glue. Do you think this is a wiring issue or I need a new speedometer? Thank you!

Ok, here is a speedometer repair show in Lancaster Pa. You could ship it to them, not sure you want to go that route because it is cracked.
