Ive run across a local opportunity (150-200 mile round trip) of picking up and delivering 1-2 loads a day. Each load pays around $550-$600. I have tons of experience hauling hay, livestock and farm equipment. I DO NOT have a CDL, never needed one with local Ag. Stuff. This isn’t Ag but will always be under 26K. Should I consider this? I’d need $1,000,000 liability and $50K cargo insurance. What else would I need? I obviously have truck n trailer. Thanks.
Non CDL local opportunity

If you are hauling for pay you are a motor carrier. A cdl doesn't matter as much as if you are driving a CMV or not. A CMV is typically all vehicles used in commerce above a 10,000lb gvwr.
About the only thing you don't need is drug testing the driver (you).
Unless you are in a state that doesn't follow federal regulations anyway. -
It’s 1,50 a mile..
bad deal -
Not sure what you’re trying to say?

I'm saying you are a motor carrier. You are no different than the same requirements Swift has to operate, save for a few minor changes.

Thanks but that doesn’t help with specifics.

Get CDL and do whatever

Gonna depend on what state your in. NY no cdl would be required unless you crossed a state line.
