I pay 10k a year and I pay it up front . Listen its hard to recommend someone start in this business given the price of equipment. Equipment is double the cost and maintenance has to be up at least 15% to 20% if you can get the parts , bad thing is rates haven't doubled or trippled despite them saying there is a truck shortage. Don't get me wrong I've scored some good paying loads and I'm making good money but I have a paid off truck and you new guys are paying over 100k for a truck that has 500k or 200k for a truck with 50 to 100k miles . I'm running my truck till it drops than I'm just gonna find a new hustle .

Now, you make me feel all better now.

Maintenance can eat up a lot so is insurance. Getting a truck/trailer isn't everything. You might have surprises along the way.
visionarygvp Thanks this.
