Rear view mirror ? 4 or 6 cylinder.

Had a kid tell me a 85 c10 8.5 rear didn't require a pinion seal. Cause computer listed it not needed. I qoute "Computer says its not required".

I know better, I removed one and not my first day on earth. Just wonder how the drag strip would have understood if I told them its "Not Required". :dontknow:

You wanna see people mad? Put fluid down on a drag strip. Any fluid.

    5.3? 6.0?

then I always tell them the color when they don't ask for it. Sometimes they laugh, sometimes they look at me nervously...

I love going in to KW looking for parts. List off the 7 digits.

    "I need the last 8"

"I gave you the whole VIN. The truck's older than you are"

    Blank stare.

    Been there myself.

I made the mistake of paying ridiculous dealer prices for for fuel filters for my Ram before I discovered Geno’s, which anyone familiar with the 6.7 Cummins at all should know that the price of fuel filters for those is insane due to the patent on the media.

They shouldn’t need a VIN for fuel filters.

Yes, unfortunately I know the plight of 6.7 fuel filters. I always have a set in the shelf. They make a kit to convert them to Cat. I get mine from Napa. They are still like $200 a set or so. Stupid.
