Very nice site! :) New here!

Hello everyone!

I found this site a few nights ago and have been reading almost continuously. So much to read and very informative too!

My DH has been a truck driver for about 4 years now. He left the company he worked for (over 3 years) last October, started for another company hoping the grass was greener on the other side but quickly found out it was only dead grass.

After applying for quite a few jobs (all trucking), he got one that he really wanted. He is in his truck now and just a few minutes ago got his first dispatch! I don't know who is more excited, me or him!

A bit about us

We are the proud parents of Sugar Gliders (skin kids (as we affectionately call our human children) are all grown) so a few years back our hearts were stolen (actually, we gave them freely) by "Suggies". It became an addiction and we have rescued quite a few of these precious babes.

They are a marsupial from Australia, Indonesia and New Guinnea, they have a gliding membrane and can glide up to 150 feet in the wild. The females have pouches which is where they carry their joeys until they become old enough to come out of pouch. (OOP) They then rely on the parents for food until app. 8 to 10 weeks before eating their diet.

They have hands like us and each one has a personality of their own. They require a special diet and someone to be with them literally 24/7. (That's where I come in..lol)

Oldnewbie, those aren't mine but I have some that look like them. I also have mosaics, pinto, Leucistic (BEW), Lion and cinnamon.
