Well said. I stepped into a not familiar sandbox. I shouldn't have. Its pointless.

But ill say this, I really appreciate the good conversation, information, and humor everyone of you ladys and gentlemen bring to this thread.

 

Have someone take your phone and record video of you drifting the truck.

 

You were called out, why... I don't know. But you did a fine job defending yourself against an unprovoked attack.

Unfortunately, some people can't see past their own face, and everyone is either "them", or "us" in their minds. They will make an entire judgment on someone based solely upon one statement or opinion that person expresses. It's impossible to have a mature conversation with them, and they have no sense of humor either.

What is really disconcerting though, is if you look at the public discourse from the mid 19th century leading up to the Civil War, how eerily similar it is to today.

Pointless as arguing about pro wrestling. Probably the same reason why I don’t get into team sports. “We” didn’t do anything other than be spectators, but people want to fight over that stuff.

That’s why I like the pure sports, like powerlifting and bull riding. There’s no talk about WE from any spectators. No armchair quarterbacking at all.

 

Don't worry about the sandbox. Most of the people there would rather argue than think. Most of them have also failed Debate 101. When their point of view gets shot down they drag out the insults.
It reminds me of being a grade school teacher except the grade schoolers had better manners and thought processes.

 

What happened to QBF and Pamela ??

 

I still see QBF post in other threads occasionally. It seems like Pamela dropped out as fast as she came in.

 

Its like a wind up race car, goes real fast till it hits the wall, then backs up and hits the wall till its out of power. Over and over.

No harm, there are some folks over there that you can have a conversation while not agreeing. They are nice folks. More humorous than anything.

 

I go there and read alot but rarely post. There's some good ones in there but drvrtech is a frigging nut job. You can't disagree with him or your labeled a leftist commie.
