I do. I'll never go back to regular wipers.

If you have no moisture in the cab air. You have expired. Since the human body expells moist air. But outside the truck you'd be correct. Except for FL. It's always muggy. ;)

I run the purple rainex -30 deicer bug juice. When ice starts to build up I’ll first spray a bit while running wipers at full speed for a few seconds. More often than not, it’ll fling the accumulated ice/snow off. If that dont work I’ll grab the blade to give it a bump. When that dont work I’ll pull into a rest area and do a proper deicing. Someone should invent a “blade bumper” that sticks to the windshield and bumps the wiper blade at the tip.

I use the winter blades sold at T/A in the shop building. I’ve had good luck with those up here in MI.

If we can send people to the moon, why can't we keep ice off the windshield? I keep a long ice scraper/brush and can use it to flick the wiper blade when it reaches the top of the arch to beat the ice off. Also, have wiper blades that have solid enclosed beam.

Smaller blades help. Those long blades tend to get snow under the ends and then it just turns to ice and starts spreading.
    I'd try 20's or maybe 18's.

So.... the freightliner ones aren't any better than rain-x or bosch.

That stuff is the best. Excellent suggestion.

My company uses the Bosch Icons and they still do EXACTLY as you mention. Only difference is that they are using some other brand of decent wiper fluid compared to personal preference that i have never had an issue with. Bosch Icons/RainX sealed beams and bugjuice. Going to stop before i go in and pick up a couple of jugs and i'll let you all know if i survive this latest of "blizzards." I know i'm pulling over if it does what it did last Monday. I was doing 20 at times in a 55 my windshield/wipers were that bad. I cant reach the tips safely.
