There's two van docks back there.
The van guys prefer the dock nearest the wall, I think because the wall provides a point of reference when they back in around the corner.
I was on the driver's side of his rig, so I didn't SEE the door come off, but I HEARD it.
Then he pulled forward enough for me to see his door laying on the ground.
"I sure hope that's for his second stop delivery, and he didn't actually tear his door off", I thought.
Except he totally did.
I think he was a victim of unconsidered tail swing.
If he asked for help I woulda helped him.
If it was another old, bald, fat, wheezy trucker like me, I'd have helped him.
But when he sauntered back there in his jammies like "Oh, well. Must be Wednesday, I tore another door off," I just kept reading WIIS on my phone.
What if it Snows?

Our old method was:
Tighten up snug, all seated well.
Spin the wheel and continue to tighten till drag is just before locking the spin.
Back off 1/2 turn to closest hole before cotter pin.
Pin it. (I have never used a torque wrench on lug nuts-Never burned a brg or lost a wheel.)
On changing a spare on to the rig on road.Spoke wheels.
Get spare down close.
Remove flat, mount spare.
Snug up nuts, lugs fitting solid. Crude criss cross sequence.
Set a coke bottle up alongside tire sidewall, just touching.
Slowly rotate tire, and tighten down to align with bottle
Remove jack, put up tools and go. (Other content bottles OK if available.)
