I-40 UPDATE
Left Jackson, TN at 0230 with a pretty steady rain. I didn't see any freezing rain or snow until I got to the far west side of Memphis. As soon as it got slippery on I-49 at the Tennessee/Arkansas line a new Freightliner got loose and went to the grass on the right and laid the trailer over and it disconnected from the truck. Most of my trip headed Westbound this morning has been in the 40-45mph range. Several miles of 25-35mph due to slow trucks trying to run in the middle of both lanes. Just east of Little Rock right now and the Lanes are getting covered with more sleet and freezing rain and there is hardly any traffic going west. All of the traffic is heading east and there are super long lines of cars and trucks.

Good time to do it. Mom's neighbors put their little place up at what I consider a truly ridiculous price and 60 days later it's pending sale. Agent is a neighbor and a friend so hopefully someone that......fits in.singlescrewshaker, cke, clausland and 10 others Thank this.

The yoke is new (6 months) and it's tight. Vent plug is also good. Last time this happened, they never pressed the seal in. I watched the guy take the last one out by pinching it between 2 fingers and lifting it out effortlessly. Starting to wonder if I even want this. Depending on what they see when I go back, I might try and get my money back and tell them to keep it. Then get one from someone else.....I dunno. They don't have a stellar track record thus far. The problem is with valley, not Pete. The dealer has been very good to work with.singlescrewshaker, cke, clausland and 9 others Thank this.
