We do 20-25k oil intervals on our X15 and remaining ISXs motors and we work them pretty hard. My 60k mile MPG average is sitting right around 5.3mpg according to my fuel report yesterday.

Some of our heavy 4-axle units are approaching 700k. But most trucks get cycled out by half. Always Shell T5. Haven’t had any serious issues with the cycle. Can’t say I’d want to buy one of our used trucks but heavy haul isn’t exactly ‘easy’ on any single component, anyway.

First one's in the books. Not super heavy but I made it there in 1 piece. Nothing lost, nothing damaged and no near-misses.

Guess I can cross that off the bucket list now lol.

I stole your pic and text it to him. Told him to get it washed up.

I still miss the 2 winters and one summer that I towed.
I still fondly remember the expression on a customers face as I explained the "stupidity surcharge" listed on his invoice as well as the water crossing charge for changing the oil in the transmission and differential as well as 30 minutes with a wet-vac to get the groaty water from under the rubber floor mats before rust started and the stink set into the rubber.

    Yep.

I've got to make room to put some high test in. Problem is what's in there is frozen in the lines. If it's still precipitating in the am I got some beam blades to put on and try and I'll see if there's an of the good stuff left inside.

The kits I looked at either switched on manually or switched on at 40 degrees. And if I must I can run a specific set for summer and just run these in winter time.

Creative invoicing. We called it a A##Hole tax.

If its cold and snowing I reduce the temperature to the glass so the snow stays snow, and doesn't melt. Your never gonna melt off wipers thru the glass. I know of a few folks with heated wipers, I never bothered. I put heat to floor and just use defog fan on the glass to stop from fogging.
