    NMDOT turned it into The Death Zone with the most WHACKED construction zones in the history of the world. Lot's of people already crashed there to begin with.

    That part is bad too. They get the freezing rain along there. I think MM 256 is where they had that mega crash last year.

    I got offered a new truck this morning. Of course it had to happen in the middle of the week. :rolleyes:

    Fortunately it isn’t a problem for them to let me swap over this weekend. Taking a CB out of a 579 Pete and installing it in another isn’t a quick chore. Plus I have to change the antennas since I can’t use 4 footers. They’ll break constantly.

    That's enough to make me grateful to be plowing compost into the yard.

    Second pass of the lower part that will be lawn is done. Need to do some dirt sculpting now to eliminate ridges and unintended terraces. May have to wait for a couple of non rain days to do the final passes. Stuffs getting soupy out there.
