I do need to get some anti-fog. And that's a good point that I didn't consider. If I still have issues tomorrow I'll see if that does any better.

 

Go to a hardware store and from the paint area get a gallon jug of 99.9percent(or as close as possible) pure methyl hydrate.
Syphon out as much windshield washer fluid (save it) and pour in 1/4 jug of the methyl hydrate. Run your washers for 2 min or as much as you can, then put about 6 to 8 oz into what fluid you saved and refill the tank.
Use the rest of this jug 4 to 6oz at a time.
Methyl hydrate is more pure than medical grade isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) which is 30 to 60percent water.

It seems to me that TA/Petro are doing their absolute best to go bankrupt.

I was a loyal customer to Petro when they were independent and to TA since the changeover from the Union 76, but now, I would be elated to see Homer Hogg unemployed.

 

The flat glass T8 was the worst rig I ever had for iced up wipers for some reason. I got so mad once- go awhile, pull over, go awhile, pull over I broke the glass de-icing.
With my W9 and air wipers now I use alcohol- drink it until there's no snow/ice on the rig, usually March/April-ish. Seems to work.
