    I have had lifter bores bored and sleeved in frame. I used to have a guys number done mobile machine work. Don.....I can’t remember to save me. I’ll see if I can find his contact info

    They can do all sorts of stuff at a machine shop. I had a 40 year old Cat block get a bunch of machining. The surfaces where the lower liner seals sit were pitted to the point they were unuseable. They hogged out the holes and sleeved all 6 for about $200/hole.

    This is exactly what I’d do

    Get rid of the computer all together .

    Lifter bore is good. So going to fix. So now for the next question. For a 6NZ are the PDI rebuild kits good or stay CAT?
