I would want to hear form ones who have been successful financing it. I couldn't get banks to approve my equipment at old market prices two years ago. So, how is it done now?

That’s my number with an old POS. About $8.5k a year truck insurance and $11k a year health insurance. I suppose if he’s going new that number for truck insurance would be double? Triple? I wouldn’t know.blairandgretchen Thanks this.

This really is exactly what I would like to do. I'd rather get a cheap 2007 or older Freightliner with a series 60 and plan on putting $20-30k into it and end up with a mostly reliable truck that's paid off.

$50-60k in the bank if you have a new truck
$75k minimal in the bank if you buy used and you did your due diligence on the truck -
