Whatever you do, don't buy pre 2010 Freightliner. I had horrible experience with my cab light. I had to spend so much money and time on it, it is uncalculatible. It was dim and not bright at all, so I've spent whole 10 minutes of work money to buy LED fixture and whole 10 minutes of actual work to replace it. I was exhausted to keep my hand up in the air for so long. And the uncalculatabe part is, I don't remember how long it took to get it through the shipment. Very bad vehicle.
Which brand and model of truck has the least electrical problems?

oops, I did it again)
PS: maybe that's why I had a cab light problem? -
Well, an interior cab light does not a bad truck make,,,however, I agree on the Freightliner part. I drove a '99 Century for a guy, had like 875K on it, I swear, EVERYDAY, something would quit working, blink, flash, stick, break, not cool, not heat, not wipe, one day, the air adjust steering wheel broke,,I never had any of that with any KW, Mack or Ford or my WS. Today, modern trucks are assembled like toasters, and are a nightmare of wiring, hey, you want that heated cup holder or diagnostics that make the space shuttle look silly, be prepared for trouble.goga Thanks this.
