Hirschbach threatens to file lawsuits to keep drivers from leaving

They must really be hurting for drivers if they are resorting to this..

 

What recourse does Hirschbach expect the new company the driver is trying to hire on to be responsible for the drivers irresponsibility to pay Hirschbach for a breach of the contact?

“We are pissed that said driver used our training to get his/her CDL and now is leaving to go to your company.” Classy.

 

I think it's more to say. "Don't expect this driver to honor any of your contracts. Because they're not honoring the one they have with us."

A buyer beware.

 

I agree. Bonehead move on the part of the driver that isn’t willing to abide by the contract he signed.

 

Form letter. Must need it pretty often.

 

Says a lot about the company doesn't it ?

 

Actually says more about the lack of integrity of the drivers. If there's enough of them breaching contracts.

 

Said company must be doing something wrong if that many are leaving. Perhaps they should screen drivers better rather than put anybody with a pulse who applies in the drivers seat.

Granted the talent pool is pretty shallow in this day and age with not much to choose from.

 

. I’m thinking that if you leave the training company early and choose to pay the prior agreed money that’s not a breech but exercising an option. Hirschbach has no business trying to involve outside companies in a contract between them and an individual which puts them in the chicken excrement category.

 

That's the point of the letter. The driver didn't. Again. Two options. Stay the term or pay back for the school. This driver did neither.
