thanks all the amazing folks, I just need bobtail insurance, that is. since my authority is totally new, and I am new driver too, no many insurance is wiling to insure me, finally, my broker which I will work for added this truck into their fleet, then I can hit the road.

When we bought ours, the seller gave us a temporary registration that lasted a week or one month. I can't remember.

You need DOT # to get fuel permit, temporary permit and insurance for WA, OR and CA.
Also need name on door that matches Bill of Sale. Anything will do as long as its legible from scale house. -
Fuel permit and temp permit are not required.... why... because until you registered it as a cmv it isn't a cmv...

Bought a truck in Louisiana once, insured it from home, bought some fuel permits and put NOT FOR HIRE on the doors, drove it home. Never stopped at any chicken houses along the way. Was pretty simple.
