I had some work done by him last year. He may not be in business much longer as he told me he has a terminal disease. Nice guy, does excellent work.

They all have issues, but this mixer problem is only on the new Stryker 955, K-PO 5000, and Anytone AT-5555

Tall Mike and RedForeman Thank this.

That's Mark Sherman (a.k.a. "Hardrive")...think he's in New Mexico, you can hear him every now and then on channel 19 when skips rolling out of the west...

He's always bashing shops that (in his words) hack up Stryker radios, and won't answer messages sent to him on fb...if you send him a message usually what you get back is a automated response telling you basically he doesn't answer messages.:D

He sounds like he knows what hes doing, but I've never bought anything from him either, just talked with him on the radio whenever skips rolling...He does have a good sounding station.

I've been hearing him 8-12 hours a day, from Milwaukee to Florida to New York, every day. He sounds good, once in a while he makes some interesting technical remarks. Otherwise he's the pest he makes everyone else out to be. Walking all over traffic/incident reports I'm trying to listen for on 19 isn't helpful. I don't get too put out over some DX calls now and then, but this dude rambles for hours on end and too strong to attenuate with the RX dial. Clearly he's got some kind of deficit, or maybe dementia setting in.

I would find that quite entertaining if I was still running coast to coast.
I don't even have a radio in my day cab.

    RedForeman Thanks this.

That's funny I just heard him hammering on the bowl 5 minutes ago.
I didn't notice your voice coming through my speaker though.
As a general rule, if they can't make your radio sound exactly like this one and perform exactly like this one they have no business taking your money.

Tall Mike and RedForeman Thank this.
