Just make sure that it is specific to that task. If it is a blacket POA, they can use it for whatever they want on your behalf. You can even pit in an expiration date. That way they can only use it until that date. Prevents future BS.

When I switched from intrastate to interstate. My compliance guy did everything right. State of Ohio dropped the ball sending proper info to feds. Long story short, it cost me 2 months. I understand. I was suppose to stay active on intrastate during this time. Ohio deactivated me, because I filled for interstate. I do not know how I would have handled it. My guy took care of it. Cost sometime.

This is the second apology The State of Ohio still owes me.

The other is a day and a half in county jail for a suspended license with warrants. Had no license for a week. Ohio BMV mixed my name up with a gentleman from Columbus. No possible way to mix up are pictures. They fixed everything. But not as much as a sorry.
