A k100 with a kta would be my project of choice! You should buy it, then restore it, then post pics. That way I can live vicariously through you, all while not spending a dime of my own money. Sounds like a win/win to me.

 

You can buy the shell and blank panels. You can put stuff where you want it.

 

How about we do some roll playing ... you fund the project.. I'll fetch it back to the shop and send you pictures everyday of the progress
I know I'll catch greif over this statement but 34k for a Unmolasted K100 with a KTA 600 didn't seem out of line. I can't remember exactly what year it is early 80' if I remember

 

Considering you see just a K Cummins going for 10k it's not out of line.

I'am afraid if I keep reading your replies I do something stupid ... the other thing holding me back is it's in Tx.TX.. and last time I looked at a truck in TX me and that Texan got into it bad..Evidently he's idea and my of ( good shape & road worthy are 2 different things

The lay out of the switches park brake valves etc are not in the same place as a 359. It’s petty but that’s how it is.
