-
yeah, things are back on the norm, at least for now.

Well then, lets see how this week goes. In Dallas right now, waiting to drop at Denton GP at 14:00 2moro. I will assume scrap load back to S'port area, then rolls no-tellin-where! Will update to see if my predictions come true!
-
hopefully, it will not be too bad this week DragginMan, but you know how things go.

Dropped at Denton, was rolling out twd nxt p/u and BEEP, "we need you to head twd FtWorth LoL/Purina and p/u load there and take it to Gonzales,TX." Cool, says I. Send me further away from the house on my upcoming weekend off. So, took care of that one. 44000lbs of horse food. Went to Temple,TX and p/u 16500lbs of dog food. Brought that to Roseland,LA. Won't discuss times here, but all I will say is they knocked on my door a BIT 2 EARLY. YAWN!! Left there, off 2 Bogalusa, p/u preload, bring to Lexington,SC. After I drop this 2moro, I got a broker load (oh, FUN!!
)in Charleston,SC for a dlvry in Alvin,TX Tuesday. So yeah, this week has been better than last for moving along, what sux is most of this driving has been late afternoon into early morning!

Wel, I don't know about what's going to happn with them now as their warehouse in Red River Parish (not sure where about) burnt to the ground last night and they lost $9M in the loss. I was just fixng to fill out an app. for them as I live south of the Shreveport city limit. Another guy up the street used to drive for them and he was home every time I came home and spent a lot of time at the house with his truck parked there. He went to work for a local outfit "Specialty Trackhoe". I applied with them but their not hiring.
Oh how fast are the truck's and are they automatic's? I saw the company site last night and the one driver that did the career day run for a couple of the local school's was in an automatic Columbia. -
Warehouse (or what's left of it
) is located east of I49 on Highway 509 just before you get to LA1. This location used to be known as Murpy Bonded Warehouse. They have rented/leased warehouse space and equipment somewhere in Shreveport. I personally have not been thru that process of going to the rental locations yet.
They have Autoshifts and a few sticks left. Was told by an inside source that Tango is planning to get to three thousand (3,000) trucks in the next 5-10 years. -
I do believe I have an idea of the place. Not far down the road from the paper mill. I know they HQ's are based somewhere over near Pines Rd. A couple miles down from the Petro. They used to have a #### load of local green international's that ran part's from AI-Shreveport (used to work there) across the street to the GM plant and from another major warehouse that used to be AT&T year's ago located across the street from Wal-Mart on Hwy 171 (Mansfield Rd.), then turned into Avaya(spelling?) which my dad, step dad and myself worked on that project tearing it down. A bunch of different companies along with Tango and P.A.M bought into it as storage and the big Hollywood movies boy's took over the rest of the plant as HQ's for filming (Mr. Brook's, Mad Money and a couple other's with more coming) That's the only other warehouse that I know of that Tango has. I don't know what they did with all the local truck's and driver's when GM shut down. Nothing was ever said about it on the new's and I don't live very far away so I noticed the truck had disappeared. Had to be a pretty large cut back for Tango considering the number of local driver's they had here.
Doublecutter Thanks this. -
Still running GM....what's left of GM
..they just useing white trucks instead.
