Had a need for some 8ft drops, with flaps on both ends. They were the only ones that had them in stock. 18oz, heavy as all get out. Could only get one in the box, no matter how they were rolled/folded. They were $1000.00 shipped. About the only thing I noticed was where multiple seams come together. Not exactly straight. Here is the kicker. Only used them 3 times. Shipper that wanted them discovered curtains and Connies. Only called when they got in a jam, then complained about the rate quoted. Started saying “ no truck availability” they don’t call anymore.

Used to have an 18X36 flat tarp, “D” rings all 4 sides, rows at 18in. That was my go to for a long time. If memory serves me, I got it from a rigging company. Seem to remember they had a few, must have come on some machine. Didn’t pay a lot for it. Maybe $200.00.

    That's what I have for a machine/steel tarp.
    It works.

So the stuff I got from Mytee, I noticed it's a mish-mash of USA, China and India with the tarps being the primary items sourced from China.

I haven't taken them out of the shipping bag they came in so I can't speak to how good/bad the ones I got look at a glance. I might do that tomorrow.

One thing I did notice on the chains that I got, is that I'm going to need to check the cotter pins on all of the hooks because at a glance I noticed a lot were barely bent back they way they should be. Big deal overall? Nah, perhaps a few minutes of my time to make things right.

I don't usually eat anything until 2:00. I never have been a early bird, and if I do have to be up, I just want coffee.

That's me up at 0430, coffee, breakfast at around 1000hrs. More coffee, light snack maybe a banana around 1430 and the last meal of the day at 1700 to 1830.

You obviously don't drive to avoid the weenies of the road. :) I use to sleep at delivery or pickup, but if I was rolling and woke up at a stop, it was late morning after the 4 wheelers were at work before I'd get out on the roads, especially the big cities and in the winter. Always short drive the winter to make sure I'm not out of the truckstops before 4.a.m. on frozen roads. Let the four wheelers coat it with salt and make it safe. 10 am was my roll time too. :) Quick coffee and power bar and off we go. Usually didn't worry about parking as I'd roll into delivery or pickup for the night. That's about the only time I'd get up early. :)

It was a huge time saver. I used it on palletized freight where one tarp wasn't enough and on long loads that would've required a 4' and 8' to cover the length. The company would confiscate them so you had to hide them when you went into the shop, lol.
