Having issues with truck.
Got an air leak somewhere and I’m having problems with the def gauge again.
When I try to start the truck gauge stays on empty and it throws transmission faults.
Kenworth New England said it was a software error and they couldn’t replicate the issue.
At mhc El Paso for the air leak, now having them look at the def/fault issue.
Hopefully not stuck here for a while

I live in el paso now but iam snowed in Laramie WY ...you might be there awhile good luck keep us posted
-
Shop said if I need a sensor for the def gauge I’m looking at two to three weeks.
These shortages are really getting out of hand. -
Abs valve needs to be replaced.
For the other issues they have been going down the electrical issue rabbit hole.
At least it’s not a sensor.
Worked on the truck all day couldn’t find source, shop said the tech will be back at it again in the morning. -
Finally finished this one:
load out trailer Tracy ca to kernersville nc 100
-10 lease on fee
-5 insurance fee

loaded it with
Freemont CA to Garner NC 8,400
Stops in Garden Grove and Fontana
Phoenix
Wallace NC
-840 lease on fee
-420 insurance fee
The load was late because of a breakdown
so the rate got lowered to 5000.
-2890 charge back
Total to truck 4,250
-1679.88
-1800.59 repairs
-374.54 hotel

bobtailing from kernersville to Lafayette IN brand new trailer waiting for me.
Though I was going to have to give it up because of break down but it’s still mine if I can get it Saturday.
Not missing this trailer. -
February was a bad month.
Did two loads for the month and had a breakdown.
Got my brand new wabash lease trailer looking forward to running with it to see if consistency improves with finding loads.
Come on March I need a good month.KingG239 Thanks this. -
We’re rooting for you! And thanks again for providing the information. I know it’s helping some of us figure out if this is the way we want to go. We spoke with their recruiters and of course they say people are averaging 7-8000 a week gross but we can hear the real figures here with this kind of information! I have a feeling things will turn out nicely for you when you are up to full speed with the trailer!
Rightlane76 Thanks this. -
Those are realistic numbers.
All depends on you finding the loads and negotiating the rate.
Breakdowns put a wrench in things.
Took a 3800 load from in to nh.
Long month last month just need a day or two home to recharge.RidgeRunner731 Thanks this. -
I’m starting to figure out that this doesn’t mean very much
These offers are really bad
43,000lbs 977mi for 2,300 not budging a dollar.
Cost about 200 just in tolls to get the hell out of New England.
35,000 lbs 1807mi for 4,200 actual is 1840 so their trying to get free miles as well.
I know most want to get out as fast as possible so it gives the broker some power.
But I’m on home turf no rush to get out.
I do know that when I do leave a key is to get out of New England and stay out until I want to go home.
I mostly like to hang around the Midwest.Last edited: Mar 2, 2022

Northeast has always been #### for outbound freight rates, inbound is how they pimp you into that crap
