what do you expect from TQL.

plus right now the only demand for reefer trucks in in CA. 2/3 the reefers in the country are now trying to run around everywhere except california so the rates are all screwed up.

There is no shortage of trucks. There's a surplus. TQL put that rate there to see if they can get someone to move it for that price. I have seen brokers drive thru truck stops just to see how many trucks there are. Getloaded has a trucks to loads ratio at the top of the screen with a thumbs or thumbs down. I don't like brokers anymore than the next guy but they are a fact of life in the trucking industry. The problem is someone will haul that load. You can bet on it. Chances are they may well deadhead to pick it up. Medicine Man hit on a problem to. California with their CARB compliant BS is causing many to simply stay away and take loads to areas they normally wouldn't, thereby creating surpluses when normally there wouldn't be. It's probably not that significant but still is a factor. I dealt with TQL some when I was driving and usually could negotiate a little more money from them but that was then and this is now and the fact is they're gonna try to move the loads as cheaply as possible. Until this economy pick up rates are gonna stay lower than normal. There's not much anyone can do about it either because some one will haul that $1.00 a mile stuff. The alternative is to keep looking. Today is Thursday, the load from Buffalo is cheap, if no one takes it tomorrow the rate will go up. I have seen this happen too many times to count. Is it right? No. There was post the other day on here about a load that paid $1800. When the confirmation came thru it showed the actual rate of $2600. Is this fair? Hell no. Is it legal. Yes. Just another example of the huge problems in this industry.

The best i've found for the price is get loaded.com $45 a month, 123 loadboard and internet truck stop share info so they are both the same as far as loads posted i do like internet truck stop but not the $115.00 a month price there"s also a load board with direct shippers on it but i can't think of the name, between em all they pretty much have the same loads.

Internet Truckstop for $115 a month? You don't have to sign up for all their add-ons and can just do load board and truck posting for like $35 per month if I remember correctly. I used them for a few months. I switched to MembersEdge which is the same exact board as TruckersEdge but is sponsored by OOIDA. With your OOIDA membership you save like $3 per month and that brings it down to like $31 or $32 per month. I may reactivate my Internet Truckstop for a month and compare however, as I don't see some loads and brokers on Members Edge that I saw on Internet Truckstop.

I also did the 30 day trial on Freight Capitals board that you mentioned and to me it didn't come close to the others.

All these depend on what you're pullling too. Some have more flatbed, others reefer/van etc...

Your right on internet truck stop but for the $30 a month price you dont get credit or milege get loaded at the $45 gives me a way to run miles plus a credit score on the broker.

I have an account set up with Freight Capital. I can check credit 24/7 on brokers and shippers.

    No charge

I've used both IT and Getloaded and like both but I think Getloaded is a better value with the additional information they give. However, GL's credit ratings and the ones the company I'm leased to are often radically different. A broker with a 90 plus score on GL is often rejected by my company that has a cutoff limit of 70 from their source of credit ratings.
