Appreciate that, I actually got that from some YouTube videos so it’s taken care of.GYPSY65 Thanks this.

By lettered you mean like put a label where’s it’s secured?
-
I've not yet found a regulation that requires it. Last company I worked for has 1,000 trucks, current company 6,000. Not a single one of those tractors have the label anywhere on the truck. Both are large enough it would have been an issue, if it is an issue.DMPCarrier, God prefers Diesels and GYPSY65 Thank this.

and if you ever run to a mine site you have to show proof of it being inspected monthly as well as it has to be the 10 pounder not the usual 5 pounder that most trucks carry... cant tell you how many times i got into it with the msha inspector over stupid #### like that...hey dude im just a dumb truck driver, get out of here. they dont care if you are only visiting for 5 seconds. god forbid you take your hard hat off to go take a piss in the porta pisser.... god i could go on and on but i wont. dealing with DOT is a much more pleasurable experience let me tell youGod prefers Diesels Thanks this.

Drove big trucks for 8 years and had two clean DOT inspections. Ran hot shot for 14 months and had 11 DOT inspections. They love pulling hotshots because it is easier for them to inspect. Have all your paperwork in a clean and organized folder and start with a good attitude. The good attitude will make things go alot better. Just know, if they want to write a violation, they will find something.
