    And the couch cuts down on the height of your side boxes under the bed. My brother had a 72” Aerocab flattop and he thought he wanted the couch. Then after that truck he’s always just gotten a bed. Lol

    We called them craw throughs.
    We had set in’s too at one time as far as the opening goes. About all modern stuff is walk through today….

    My old Transtar that I bought a early double Eagle style sleeper for. There is another sleeper but can’t remember the name like this….

    I've had both and I really liked the studio at first, but it wore thin pretty quick. I've fell asleep on the couch before because I was too tired to get up into the bunk......very uncomfortable.
    I like the dinette below and bunk up top. I've never had one that way, but I think it would be the optimal setup. Have a place to set and eat or do paperwork and have a actual bed above that doesn't fold up/out.

    Not necessarily. I'd need a whole new truck for that. But the first time I heard about them, they were talking about International. I know International has the Eagle trim package. So I figured it was referring to that. But later guys were talking about it here, but on a different truck, so I finally looked it up. Is that what @blairandgretchen and @Old Man have on their trucks?

    You don’t have to have a huge sleeper to have a shower and toilet .

    I built both that fit under the bunk .
    Just flip up the bunk and raise the shower curtain.

    I’ve seen guys with small bunks like yours stretch their frame and put a larger bunk behind it. You could have some cabinets in your factory bunk area and then the aftermarket bunk could be your bed, kitchen, and shower.

    There was a company in Seattle that would stretch factory bunks. I spoke to them back in 2013 or so because I was thinking about stretching the bunk on my FLD to an 84” flat top just for something different. But I was quoted nearly $20k before without any work on the interior.

    LOL. My whole truck cost $15,500. The value of it ranges wildly based on how much fuel is in the tanks.

    But if you like it there’s nothing wrong with making it into what you want. I really liked my FLD and had plans for it until the cab started cracking out. Then it wasn’t worth it to me to fix it because to do it properly wouldn’t have been cost effective. And people also called me crazy for dumping money into it for 4 years but I thought I made it into something cool and that’s all I cared about.
