Best States to Base a HotShot Business

States that produce things. Some states do not manufacture. Some state’s mainly consume have less freight.

 

Hawaii

 

Stay east of the Big Muddy, North of Hotlanta, stay out of the Northeast. To be exact.

 

Depends if he does hotshot freight or hotshot cars.. NE pays very good for cars.

 

Freight, yea I don’t know cars.

 

Up in the NE certain areas at least it's pretty easy to find .80-$1/mile cars. Meaning a 3 car trailer can easily make $2.50/mile+ to get out of the northeast.

The drawback to cars is they are always heavy.. However, I've kinda gotten where I like doing cars more than freight because you can get a load pretty much anywhere but also no real waiting. You load yourself and go.. The only time I have to wait for someone to load me is at insurance auctions and the big Carvana lots (because they bring the cars to you).

Also no need to factor anything or wait on payment 90% of the time I get paid COD.
