Truck idk. He traded it for a 88 cabover new. The last I knew went to Mexico. The trailers are still working someplace in Michigan last I knew. The 88 with a 444 was a junk. He had bought another 1990 flc with a Detroit. That is a 4 axle wrecker in Missouri.
City built one other set. He bought them used and put a driver on them. He had the 2 only sets built. Had a couple green fl cabovers that were matlock tanker trucks. One pulled doubles, one pulled a spread.
His favorite was his 74 k100 with 3 9s city.
Thats the same Truck. Repainted with the Cascadia paint scheme. In all KW factory paint and stripes on side boards. But not a KW option at for a 74. The paint was lifted from KW dumpster in Chillicothe and painted by a ex employee about 1981. It was one of a kind. Lol.
NTA 420 small cam. It had a reputation in the Ohio,Michigan steel market.Attached Files:

That's pretty dang cool. I remember you talking about those trailers awhile back. I wish I still had half the stuff my greedy ### family sold off when my grandparents passed. What they didn't sell off they just tossed out in a dumpster.....all in one day! It's a sore subject.Dadetrucking305, Lostkeys, dwells40 and 12 others Thank this.

Reading this makes me think how some things in life are really kinda timeless. How some things stay fresh and relevant not only in our minds and memories, but in life in general.Dadetrucking305, IH9300SBA, kwswan and 14 others Thank this.

Good deal. This is a new market to my experience. I just was educated on asking a dealer to sign the agreement on markup. If they don't, go to another dealer. This has always been a issue on performance spec orders. But I here its a problem on all vehicles.
These guys taking delivery of new petes and it costing a few grand more at deliver would make me contemplate murder.
As a business you can go to your financial institution and put money into a performance bond. X amount of money is released at said completion points. They get x amount of money as its built. If they don't complete it, they don't get the money.
The small village I was a FF for, we bid the new equipment on a performance bond.Last edited: Feb 18, 2022

Definitely. I shopped 2 other dealers. They all were absolutely fine with msrp. I chose this particular one because they are who sold my father his f150 and who he ordered his f250 from the same day I ordered my bronco.
That additional markup is crazy right now due to no one being able to get vehicles built like they used to. New vehicles on lots are pretty much nonexistentLostkeys, JoeyJunk, PoleCrusher and 9 others Thank this.
