New CDL Requirements - Any way around it?

I don’t need it I already have a CDL but I think the farm should be exempt

Farms are exempt from everything .

until a few years ago in my state , agriculture was exempt from every regulation
The DOT couldn’t even inspect their trucks
Until log truck drivers with no CDL and with no brakes and started killing people frequently .

 

Wow

in my state the 320 hour community college CDL class is $1,600 and only rich people pay that . Nearly everyone gets it for free under some welfare handout program .

 

I’d be recruiting school bus drivers ….
I’m sure every school system will get their accreditation to train their own drivers soon if they haven’t all ready

most schools are begging for bus drivers , and they offer medical insurance and retirement pension for the full timers .

party bus sounds like weekends , and schools are closed weekends .

 

Who would want to haul any of these kids nowadays?

I remember our driver would do crap like slam the brakes if it got out of hand

And a 4th grade teacher who would throw chalk erasers ( remember those? ) at any kid out of line

You can’t even we n discipline or say anything without parents throwing a fit. Wonder why the children are little ########.

 

Use to be cheaper from what I understand, but since new requirements they have a corner on the market.

 

That’s why we sent our kids to a private school

discipline is not an issue
If the kid causes problems frequently , they simply get expelled .

 

You can do the classroom training online. For buses there is a road training section you can't get around.
