Buying you own truck with no experience of knowledge of the trucking industry is going to be a very expensive school .
I’d highly recommend working for a company for a year or so amd learn the business . Learn which lanes have profitable freight etc .

I did exactly what you’re thinking of doing

Got my CDL bought a truck on a lease purchase deal and jumped into the deep end of the pool .

but I was very lucky
The company I signed on with was actually fair and honest with the lease purchase and I did ok
But there’s so so many stories of guys driving 80 hours a week for months and not making a dime , and in fact owing the company
Money after months of hard work .

you can make $60-75k your first year working for the right company driving their truck.
So when it breaks down or needs expensive repairs , it’s not your money and they put you ina replacement truck so you’re not sitting for weeks , still making a truck payment and insurance payment while your rig sits waiting forever weeks on parts from China that may or may not ever arrive .
