Where is everyone #5

I don't know about you folks, but I slept like a baby with an APU running. Engine, too, but I prefer the fuel savings (even as a co driver) and the ready charge battery and household current. I consider those sounds, background noise that lull me to sleep.

 

I can't sleep with anything running. When there is an apu or reefer withing 2 trucks of me, it literally makes me sick. The resonance of it bounces of my truck and gives me a headache and makes me sick to my stomach. Sucks.

 

It was the truck (newer Fruitlooper), not an APU. Way more noise than a reefer or APU.

 

Might have been regening. I tend to park in the back where most drivers dare not go.

 

Parked in Virginia Beach - (yes, I still hate VA) for a reset. Hopefully it goes smoothly - paid to park and we walked to the hotel.

 

I hear ya can date your sister there. LOL

 

The only APU that I could sleep while it was one, was an electric APU. Slept like a baby. I don't want to listen to your old reefers or your trucks that pop off all night. Good thing I don't park at the truck stops.

Eww. Got stuck at the old Walt Whitman once, went into a restaurant and ordered bacon, eggs and grits. The waitress asked, “What’s a grit? Is it like scrapple?” I respond, “What’s scrapple?” She brought some out. Ummm never mind…
