my trainer was alright except he drove like most people do and didnt have a clue on the whole team shower thing

And even of they had the ability, who in their right mind would go that far into their imagination to fetch a tall tale like that?

 

And if it was made up, then that guy needs to consider switching his truck for a microphone, he would do a lot better being a comedian. That was the funniest thing I read in a long time!

 

No, he did not want to shower with me. He just seemed to not realize taht you could get two for the price of 1. then he'd complain because i stunk. I made sure i stunk just to help him get the point. Showered three times in three weeks, paid for one. LOL.

even if it was true, the way he told it was just totally priceless. Honestly, i kind of wonder if it was just posted as satire. i LOVED the story though. And if its true, why the hell didnt he get on the phone with his SDM? My daytime SDM was always really easy to get in contact with.

Anyway, check this out: Last night was on my way from Kentwood, MI to White Pidgeon, MI to pick up a load. I'm going home today, it's been a stressful three weeks. I had no trailer. Was told to come to battle creek drop yard for one. Took the only empty, got to the rest area in Kalamazoo, and got a message saying that i could not take this empty and that it's damaged and not safe to load. They said it had a buldge in the inside wall near the floor and it could mean something more serious, and having seen pictures of forklifts falling through rotted out floors in trailers, i figured i better listen. But....i could not even find the bulge. Seriously, what the heck. So i wasted the 30 extra miles to get back to the drop yard. No other empties. Now they want me to wait for this one to get fixed. When I sent the message to put myself on line 3, i did not push the Y button hard enough, so it did not send, so my 10 hr break was cut short 15 minutes. Now i have to take a two hour break.

IM NOT PUTTING UP WITH IT ANYMORE. I am putting my two week notice in on monday. The trailer was one thing, that'll happen anywhere, but the paperless logs are just bugging the hell out of me. And most of the time you call the log department, they b**** you out.

For attention, and I doubt it was nearly that bad - and he just embellished a bunch of trucker "urban legend".

I'd have more respect for that person if they left B4 half of that stuff happened.

The entire OP reeks of a person whom has more of a disdain for drivers - and the industry in general - than anything else.

Entertaining yes ... credible? not a chance.

BTW those are great quotes, made me wonder if I am whining and/or complaining too much.
