Yes, I got my TWIC card the year they stoped accepting them. Only been to 2 ports since then and was only acceptable at one and not the other.

needless to say I won’t be renewing it this year.

 

Now, that I did not know?

 

If I flew more I would get it again for just that.

 

Does it do any good if you’re not traveling alone?

 

Last time I flew, which was years ago, I had hazmat and was harassed like I had walked in with a swastika tattooed on my forehead.

 

My 1st time flying for the oilfield company I was at I forgot I had a knife in my backpack Lol. Security was not happy

 

I flew to Florida for orientation with a car haul outfit and did the same. Had to get out of line and mail it to myself so they wouldn’t confiscate it.

 

Sitting in the McDonald's In billings. Laughed my ### off. Everyone is staring now. You should goto some parks in Florida. They have the best signs ever. One is a pic of a baby on the railing and an alligator. Another asks you not to feed hallucinogenic mushrooms to the alligators. I will look for the pics tonight. Halarious.
