Once again we keep lose ground as the bottom catches up.
Using round numbers Nickle/mile raise would equate to roughly $5k raise per driver per 100k miles a year. Not even keeping up with inflation of so called 7% more realistically low double digit.
Corporate could afford it, chose not to. 9k drivers, equals 45million for all drivers wage increase, were told all throughout the scamdemic how important we are, guess we're not that important.
Realistically its a drop in the bucket compared to record profits and raises more important people than us deplorables got...
But so be it. Good luck everyonedrvrtech77, RussianBearTruckeR, dwells40 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Sorry to read about this. I assumed the pay was pretty standard across the board being a private carrier. Never payed much attention as I’m an outsider. During a time of ridiculous inflation, anything below a significant raise is a slap in the face. Walmart isn’t losing any money due to inflation as they raise prices to offset that rise. So there really is no excuse. Too bad Sam’s successors were the complete opposite of him. Walmart would be a much better place for everyone.
