How the heck do I get Super-B experience if nobody will hire me without it. It seems most of the localish high paying jobs are Super-B, but I can't even get a foot in the door. I have 3 years of other highway and city experience but want to get into the big paying jobs. For those of you with B experience how did you get into it?

I fell into it and they didn’t even care if I could back them up at the time. Where are you located?
Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
I found Westcan or Trimac will hire with no super b experience.
That’s where I got my foot in the door to learn.Sirscrapntruckalot, D.Tibbitt, Another Canadian driver and 2 others Thank this. -
That’s odd. There certainly is companies out there who will give you a shot at it with no experience. Trimac took me on without it, so I can verify Bonder45’s post.
If your MELT training was taken at a recognized school, your driver abstract is clean and your work history doesn’t show a pattern of job hopping often, you shouldn’t have an issue.Sirscrapntruckalot and Another Canadian driver Thank this. -

4 jobs in 3 years is a red flag. If you get on anywhere that runs B-Trains they’ll pin you up to a set eventually.Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
What’s wrong with job hopping.
1. You can’t go along with every body
2. If the equipment is crap. You run.
3. If you can make more money. You go.
4. Sometimes everything is awesome and you stick around!BobO1176, Another Canadian driver and BedHead Thank this. -
BigHossVolvo, Another Canadian driver, beastr123 and 1 other person Thank this.
