    Hi everyone, we are here at orientation for Western Express this week. I’ve seen some videos on YouTube saying that they make you sign a contract for a year and if you don’t fulfill it they make you pay $2500 for your trainer training you. Can anyone confirm this please? I am going to ask tomorrow in orientation before I sign anything. I hope this isn’t true, we just spent 26 hours on a crowded bus getting here. Thank you all in advance!

    It’s probably if they train you to get your cdl there charging for,Not the traditional ride along with a driver trainer for a week or so starting out.

    That did not occur while I was there way back when; and I have not heard that from more recent drivers either. All you gotta do is ask in orientation.

    When I was there there was a 1 year contract but that was for orientation. I already had my CDL at the time as well.

    Were you at the Nashville terminal? What do you mean for orientation? I do have my CDL and I am currently here at orientation.
