I still think you have a wiring problem for the cluster. If the main key switch had problems, the whole truck would shut off, not just the gauges. The key switch supplies relays which then supply large sections of the truck, so many many things would shut off due to a key switch problem.

I’ll try and look into it the switch that’s in it has the turn to start it doesn’t stop at on so I can turn it past like I would start it and wiggle the keep and the cluster will sweep but I will try and look into the wires too

I know this threat is kind of old but I'm having the same issues data link displayed in the odometer..... Cages randomly resetting coolant oil pressure light flashing....
I checked the data bus links behind the odometer and tack and they seem to be fine.....
I pulled the fuse for the ABS module and relay there's no difference.......
There is a round harness in the firewall on the driver side I removed there is a bit of corrosion and dirt in there I cleaned it up the best I could but I don't have any cleaning products with me....
I followed the main engine harness across the back of the firewall it does not seem like there's any rub through spots when I bought the truck I meticulously zip tied the entire harness to keep it away from the firewall and engine.....
As of right now if I sit in the truck and don't move the gauges and lights are fine..... -
I would start with leaving the key on and have someone watch the cluster while you wiggle sections of the harness and hope to induce the problem to narrow down your bad spot. Also, check for any old satellite systems that may be still wired into it that could be causing this.
QUALITYTRUCK Thanks this. -
Do you have access to International wiring diagrams? -
Datalinks diagrams are completely useless because they only show the basics. Due to all the different configurations I guess there is too many options for them. This is all they have for a diagram.

Ok, to add more, the datalink that runs your gauges is a different one, but it very similar to your older truck. The page I uploaded won't help you.
It looks like the cluster is still feed data by the older 1708 datalink with black twisted wires, not green and yellow twisted 1939.Attached Files:
