Long commutes from the man camp to the yard burning gas and adding wear and tear on personal vehicle

    Slip seating junk equipment

Crap pay, expect about $2,500 every two weeks. Yes, they pay bi monthly. Anything under $2,500 a week isn't worth it for oilfield. I can drive a local dump truck be home every day and make $1,200 a week.

I think you mean bi weekly not bi monthly.Slip seating if that bothers you which I understand maybe you should have addressed that at the interview as the commute also.If you’re going to do work your not used to ask more questions b4 committing to the job.

No, I meant bi monthly as in twice per month or every 2 weeks. I told the interviewer when he explained the pay structure that I expect to earn at least $2,500 a week multiple times because the math just wasn't adding up. So I kept reemphasising what I expected to earn. I told him that if the pay falls short of that I won't stick around. That should have been his opportunity to stop reassuring me and for us to thank eachother for eachothers time and wish eachother well. That's the problem in this industry is these interviewers are really just recruiters saying anything just to get you in the door.

Yeah, still trying to find that mythical "good" trucking job. I'm starting to lose hope that such a thing exists. I can deal with a lot of crap

From reading your comments in other threads you should have enough money to buy your own truck with your own numbers. Since every company you've worked for does it wrong you can show the world how to do it right.

Yes, I can afford to buy a tractor. However, I can also afford stocks and real estate so why should I buy something that depreciates in value?

Just read some reviews on this company. Non driver reviews were great. Driver reviews were awful. And if those posts are correct, the pay is a complete joke.

No, you mean bi-weekly. Bi-monthly would be getting paid every 2 months...ADDED: After investigating this usage, it seems bi monthly can mean both....twice a month or every 2 months....
