Was the driver actually texting or are you just engaging in some baseless accusation?

I NEVER Got A Chance To Ride That Road. I NEVER Would Have In Winter Because I Didn't Like Chains, So I Stayed Mainly A Flatlander, I-40 Below.
I Have Sympathy For The Truck Drivers Killed And Maimed On That Route As Well Countless Other Dangerous Routes.

Another Death Wreck, Wolf Creek Pass.
    Cleaner Drone Footage.

This is why Colorado DOT has to warn drivers every year-Beware The Wolf!

First time I ever chained up was on this road, delivered to some small town Sears all around the area. Gorgeous drive otherwise, rip that is one of my nightmare scenarios right there.

It's not baseless at all. 99 percent of the time I see a vehicle that isn't under control, the driver is face first in a cell phone when I pass them. Until that changes, I assume the driver is/was distracted/negligent.

I hope he was asleep so he didnt have to expierence that horrifying fall. No brake smoke on the dashcam view & it looks like he was moving pretty fast. I wonder how close he was to the end of the grade? I cant imagine witnessing that. RIP driver.:(

At some point the driver knew he was done for.
    Sad.

Here is something to lighten the mood.
