My friend pulled out the original motor and wedged in a cummins from a pick up that had been rolled. Still has the original motor, old farm boy, don't throw nothing away, you might need it. I did the body and paint on it in a pretty butter yellow. Did a ton of pin stripeing on it, I really like the balance of solid paint and the thin, graceful, stripes. It sits in his garage and occasionally will be run down to the coffee shop. I will see if he will allow me to post some pics. Don't hold your breath, most of the time the answer is, No!

He and I may be related…. I don’t throw away anything either, just ask my wife…

LOL he has a shop that his the size of a football field. It is neat and tidy and well organized, but it is full of stuff. Don't look on line, come to him first, he will probably have it. I needed the retaining ring for a shift boot on a 1969 Pontiac...he had it AND the helpful tool to put the ring on. If you are in a hurry, don't come out here, the amount of time you will spend out here can be completely enjoyable (most of the time) or drive you to drink.

Stuff is the junk you keep.
Junk is the stuff you pitch. -
@MOBee I bought a 20 horsepower 1/2 breed oilfield engine. It had spokes cracked in the flywheels. I wanted to keep the crankshaft “just in case” but knew my wife would have a fit seeing those big flywheels lol.
After some thought, I made her a flower pot out of them. Found a big cast iron pot with a hole in the bottom, and hung it between the flywheels. I need to repaint them now, but I still have them….

I don't like either. I'm of the same view. When my grandparents passed away a few years ago within 6 months of each other it led to a lot of fighting between siblings (7 total). My mom didn't even get involved, she knew better.
And I got invited to 3 ####ing weddings this summer. Open bar at least Lol
