Well, good to hear from you. I saw Dave on another thread so I know he's still kickin. What are you doing now?

 

Doing a few odds and ends— for Dave. He’s kind of a bad influence

 

This is what we are working on now. This will be painted in brandywine with black and maroon pin stripes. This will be a knock out when it is done.

I found and old burly, narly power wagon for our next project. He mutters and spits when he walks by it. I think it is growing on him, he use to to just swear..

 

A guy I went to high school with had a early 70's bighorn that he repowered with a 400 big cam3 and a double over 13 to pull a tandem cow bus in western Canada and a bit of Ontario and Quebec.
That thing was fast and sweet!!

 

This is gonna be a real stupid question so bear with me. What is a 13 double over? Not trying to be a smart ###. Just don’t think I’ve seen one.

 

The ratios in the RTOO12513 were up around .68 or so in the 70's and low gear was around the same as 2nd in a RTO12513
This was a barn-burner of a trans to use with a "new" diff set of 3.70 when the most popular was 4.63 or 4.11.
