Good thing it’s in a decent Shop. Mine was dying out on its way to get the inframe. I had a bad water temp sensor. Only did it when wet, after a Truck wash or during a heavy rain. This Trucks been plagued with coolant sensor issues, since I got it. If it isn’t a sensor, it’s the pigtail for it. It’s always intermittent, 2 pigtails and 3-4 sensors in 13 yrs. After the inframe, the fuel check valve on the head was bad. Strange coincidence. Then the mystery shutdown. Tried to replicate it by pouring water on it. No Luck. Had to catch it while it was acting up. Finally figured it out. Sensor itself this time.77fib77, spindrift, Dale thompson and 5 others Thank this.

Today, I had these hoses made at Truckpro. Old ones were 4+ yrs old. They usually only last 1-3 yrs. The original front brake hose at Dealership is actually listed as a fuel line. Cost $55 each. Used to be $25. Truckpro charged Me $15 4 yrs. ago. Today it cost Me $65. Next time I’ll just put an off the shelf rubber air hose, like everyone else. Got some oil and fuel filters, dielectric grease, can of ether was $6 total $264. Yep, They got Me. That’s OK, good folks at the Hammond La. store. Always more than helpful. Haven’t been in there in over 3 yrs. Tomorrow We go to the Dealership. New power steering hoses, and maybe a fuel line.
