Where is everyone #5

Good morning from Wasco Oregon.

 

Unloaded and loaded back in Portland.No deadhead...Texas bound.

 

Man what a past week and then some. Started my teardown on the truck to remove the transmission to inspect the yoke and cross-shaft for the release bearing and before I could even get to the trans removal I had to get the fire wrench out and cut bolts out that were rusted from that Canadian winter life this truck used to live. Finally got the trans out and found that the bolts that fasten the yoke to the cross-shaft had backed out and we're missing along with a missing cross-shaft bushing. The other thing that has been a problem was the 8 month old release bearing that started making noise at the end of December. Upon inspecting the bearing I found several of the ball bearings missing. Got it all put back together yesterday after working on several other projects at home over the last week and it's ready to go back to work.

Gonna spend the rest of the week at home because my little boy turns 7 on Sunday. Hope everyone is doing well and be safe out there.

Good morning from Nashville, TN.
54F currently high of 71F expected.
Lots of things to do today that won't put any money in my pocket.
1. To get APU fixed again.
Still won't start by itself when set at 60F. Don't know if that is fixed or not.
2. Get DOT physical.
This has turned into a FUBAR
3. Pick up clean laundry.
4. Clean truck and make the bed.
Working on the truck now.
