I don't know of any problems vs Steroids in trucking. However once in a while your going to have a issue out of a large number of people who use them. I was a preemie so steroids were not for me and fit enough as it was in my time long ago. My family doctor has administered them carefully by IV in times of medical trouble as a fast and dirty way to clean up a mess somewhere. And I like them. But again, I don't use them.

NO SIR! Please stop putting out bad information. Almost 2 years ago I posted what the DOT per part 40 tests for. Those substances have not changed. Steroids are NOT I repeat NOT part of the 7-panel testing mandated by 49 CFR 40. YES, steroids are tested for in other sports setting AND a carrier is free to test for them if they desire.

§ 40.85 What drugs do laboratories test for?
As a laboratory, you must test for the following five drugs or classes of drugs in a DOT drug test. You must not test “DOT specimens” for any other drugs.
    (a) Marijuana metabolites.
    (b) Cocaine metabolites.
    (c) Amphetamines.
    (d) Opioids.
    (e) Phencyclidine (PCP).

Then these are further broken down by 40.87 that I posted 2 years ago.

The post you answered was a spammer, He had several posts with links to various products not usually seen in your regular store. He's gone.

My question is, how do you find time to work out if you're a truck driver?

If you deem something important enough, you will find the time. A normal driver has 10 hours off every day. You only really need 7 to 8 hours of sleep. You should be able to develop something in that time.

Thanks for the update. I just felt the need to make a corrective post with the links to the actual rules so that there can be no mistake.

I work out. It’s only a few hours a week. You aren’t training for a marathon.
