KJ’s outside of IF was $3.95 yesterday — no telling what it is today

 

PA is up there too with fuel. Gonna be a bloodbath soon

 

With all the BS now even tho the rates are up it's still about the same (actually a tad less profit margin) as pre covid rates

 

Rates for next week are down from what they were this week. Crazy times.

 

Soon? It's here now. I know several guys that have parked their truck. Some of them have other things they can do for a living, some of them have a wife with a good job, the rest are just hoping.
For the most part they aren't the usual cry-baby whiners that are so common in this business. These are well connected, tough, experienced people who have been trucking a long time.
When guys like this start hanging it up I begin to worry.

 

Out with the old and in with the new. One got very hot and started stinking pretty bad. Changed all 4. Old ones were probably 3 years old. $85 a piece.

 

Real headache, if you don’t have the fire ring done….
